Washington Post reports that US market showed strong resilience in the face of worsening credit crunch and concerns about an possible economic slowdown. Despite all such events on the last day of 2007 Wall Street, the Dow Jones industrial average of 30 blue-chip stocks stood at 13,264.82, up 6.4 percent for the year.
