Australia’s central bank raised its key interest rate by a quarter of a percentage point on Tuesday becoming the first Group of 20 central bank to raise the cost of borrowing again after the financial turmoil of the past year.
On Tuesday, the central bank reverse the process of low interest regime by raising its key cash rate to 3.25 percent from 3 percent, the lowest level in decades, which had been in force since April.
